The Society House was Founded by Blaise Conway in 2023. Blaise found recovery through the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous after many years in and out of various programs battling his own personal demons.
As a proud gay man and active member to the LGBTQ+ recovery community, it has always been a goal to create and support safe spaces for all people to get well and start their own sobriety journey, authentically.
Through working with Greater Boston Addiction Centers as therir program Director and overseeing various sober living houses, Blaise combined his personal and professional experience together to fullfill a longtime dream of his with The Society House.
Blaise is extremely dedicated to not only helping members of the LGBTQ+ community but their families and support systems as well.
At The Society House, we help connect addicts and alcoholics of the LGBTQ+ population with their community to build and enforce a strong sober network. Having a comfortable environment free of fear and judgment is of the utmost importance when someone is entering their sobriety journey. We are involved with various community bases support activities to help garnish connection that can carry through a residents lifetime. The house as whole is actively involved in various 12 step fellowship including Alcoholics Anonymous and crystal Meth Anonymous. We are here to learn and grow togther as a family
